About Sinharaja Rain Forest

Sinharaja is a protected tropical rainforest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve. It is home to a rich variety of endemic birds, butterflies, amphibians, mammals and plants found nowhere else.

Walks with a local guide are the best way to experience the forest, listening for bird calls and spotting wildlife beneath the canopy.
